Title: Glimpse.....Your worst day. Post by: secretoracle on July 02, 2009, 05:30:21 PM He staggered the half block from the bar and found the edge of the building a comfort. He eased himself to the sidewalk, but the sound of persistent voices kept him from being able to focus enough to make the world stop spinning. "This is my corner, get the fuck off." The speaker was young, probably not even twenty. "Piss off." he slurred out as he maneuvered into a sitting position facing the road. He realized this was a mistake immediately as there were entirely too many objects listing at unfavorably angles to the contents of his stomach. "Bitch, you don't know who your fucking with." "Show him Money, show that white boy who's corner this is." another voice calls out. The man near him pulled a gun from his pants, pointing it. "Move it bitch." He was sure that the kid wasn't waving the gun, and that he actually didn't have three arms, each holding a gun, all waving about in a sort of perverted figure eight. "Piss off." he repeated. BNAG! The shot was loud, very loud. He grabbed his ears, "Owwwwwww." he whined, "Shhhhhh, that's loud." he whispered. "You miss Money?" someone asked, he was loosing track of the speakers. "Bitch!" Money screamed, BANG, BANG, BANG. And then there was the sound of metal twisting and a scream. John had had enough and grabbed the gun, smashing it. Money's fingers were now trapped in the twisted metal of the gun, broken and bleeding from the cuts where the warped steel had bit into them. Money fell to his knees, his hand trapped in the vise like grip of the drunk who he had just shot four times at point blank range, and been lucky enough not to catch a riqochet from. "You try explaining to a doctor how your hand got smashed while you were trying to commit murder you little piss ant. And if I were you, I'd hurry. They can save those fingers if you get there quick enough." He let Money have a large exhale of rum tainted breath, and then released him. There was some shuffling of feet and whining, but before long it was quiet enough for John to get some sleep. |
