Yesterday you met some new faces, some of you shared secrets and some of you just got through your day.  The 5th of September would be hump day, but this is a short week.

9AM Principal Landis over the PA System;  "Attention, attention please.  Will the student or students responsible for the hole in the 3rd floor sorage closet wall please come forward.  This type of vandalism will not be tollerated and the consequences will be much milder if you come forward and admit what you've done.  The police are going to be looking into this matter and I can assure you that if they discover one of you was at fault there will be severe consequences.  Thank You."

Some of you that met at the Tasty Dog last night look for each other at lunchtime ((OOC: There will be a thread)).

Matt and Rory Burns eat lunch together and talk the entire time about their mutual interests.  Matt discovers that he might actually get along with Rory.

Calvin, Colin, Sarah,Megan and several other students get selected to go on a field trip Friday morning to Lawson Laboratories in Chicago.  The trip is for Freshman Chemistry 1 students.  They divide the chem 1 classes up over a four month period, one trip a month.  You guys got picked at random to go in the first group of forty students.  You leave from the school at 8:30AM and are due back around 1:30PM.

Cal, with the help of Lance, makes some positive progress with the team, and they seem to warm up to him at practice.  There is some playful banter and genuine smiles which is a strong contrast to the dark stares he got yesterday.

Megan and Lisa make the final plans for their shopping trip.  At lunch the girls have some fun at Lucy's expense.  Her play for Logan Darklighter fizzeled, and she became even more embarassed when she told the girls that it was because he told her he preferred mature girls.  It strikes Megan as odd that someone like Lucy would be so candid about something as embarrasing as that.

((Assuming that Sylvia, Kel, Colin, Sarah, Tim, Bruce, and possibly Seth will be at the same table for lunch.  There will be a couple of other threads, but I'm planning on low activity until later in the game week.  If you have plans for your character, or something specific you want to do post a mention of it here and if it requires a thread of it's own we'll get one started.))

((I'm starting to think I'll have a lunch room thread for each chapter and a new chapter each week?  I'm skipping a few days here and there to give the characters time to take care of their lives and still have enough RP and interaction to keep things enjoyable.  If we're not careful we could end up RPing every single day of the school year, which would get pretty boring.  If anyone feels I'm rushing things, or dragging things out let me know.  DO NOT BE AFRAID to speak up.))

Rate seems cool to me.  I'm just very pleased to see a game moving so well.  Color me Blown Away.  (I think that's kind of a reddish orange)
