After class Megan and Lisa got a ride to the mall from Lisa's mom, who agrees to come get the girls when they're done shopping.

After more then two hours of fittings and shopping the two girls take a break at the food court.  Megan is confident she can make it until the winter season with what she's got, and she's sure she has money left over.

Sitting in the food court Lisa spies a couple of the girls from school with a crowd of boys from one of the other area high schools.  "Oh my god."  She exclaims, "Since when did they get so popular?"

Megan thinks she recognizes one of the girls Megan is talking about, Laura Lizze.  She went to the same middel school as Megan.  she couldn't remember her being all that popular a girl.  She also thinks that she must have filled out some over the summer, because she seemed prettier then Megan remembered.

Megan is a bit surprised by changes in Laura, as she shakes her head slightly and replies to Lisa.  “I think one of the girls went to middle school with me, Laura Lizze, but I don’t remember her ever being popular either.  She looks a bit different though.”

"The girl with her is Sarah Bailey.  Her and I knew each other for a while in grade school.  She must have had plastic surgery done, because she was not that attractive last year."  Lisa takes a sip of her drink, "I guess the boys at Larkin aren't as choosey when it comes to the girls they hang out with."

Megan chuckles at Lisa’s statement.  “They are probably desperate as well.”

Lisa laughs along with Megan in agreement.

When the girls have finished Lisa calls her mom and they meet her out front.  She drops Megan off and then her and Lisa head home.
