Cal, Sarah, and Colin were declared fit for release.  they had been escorted to the lobby and there was a police officer there with them.  They had been told that Megan had been taken upstairs to a room and that they couldn't see her.

"What do they mean we can't see her?  This is crap.  She was fine when we walked out of here.  So now they're probably interrogating her or something over that squishy water guy.  Well at least they contacted everybody.  I hope her mom or her dad got here quick.  I'd hate to be in a box with doctors and a bunch of guys doing their Agent Smith impersonations."

Sarah sighs at that.  She opens up her pouch and hands Colin a journal.  "Hey, I found this last night.  You might find something useful in here.  I wasn't sure if it has anything to do with what we were talking about but maybe it's a start in the right direction."

When they him they can't see Megan, Colin thinks of the the strange warmth he felt when he touched her. And the strangest thing was that it felt... good, as if Megan was really supposed to be that warm.

Maybe the doctors think she has an infection or something, and are keeping her under observation. That's not what she's got. They'll find out soon enough that's not what she's got, and they'll let her go. At least I hope.
Maybe I should tell Sarah. But if it's something... special, there's a chance she wouldn't want people to know. Lately there seem to be something supernatural wherever I look. Speaking of that...

"Calvin, excuse me for asking, but how much can you bench press? You are... impressive."

He takes the journal Sarah offers him and gives it a look. "Thank you, Sarah, you're the best!"

He starts to read it avidly. He perks up when he realizes it talks about native american magic, and looks at Sarah for a moment, then he turns back to it, even more attentively.

A few minutes later one of the doctors comes down, "Megan asked to see you guys.  Just follow me."

The doctor chats with the poplice officer and then leads Colin, Sarah and Cal up to the room where Megan and her mother are.

What did he mean about Cal's strength?  Sarah's memory plays back a little of recent events for her and something she hadn't quite caught onto before.  Somehow the rubble moved off of Megan and Cal said he was going to move it..  1+1 = Holy Crap! 

Sarah gives Cal a suprised look.

OOC: Is there anything of importance to the story in the journal?

((OOC: It's only a reference point for Colin if he wants to begin doing research into Native American Magic))

Cal looks thoughtful for a moment, then he answers "Well last I checked, I could bench about 130, but I dunno, something about me makes me think i could do more than that now, ya know? Like..... well i'm not too sure but... I feel kinda...different. It all started when I just kept thinkin' 'I gotta save these people' over and over, somethin in me just....kinda snapped, and I felt, well different. That seems kinda strange to you?"

Colin gives Sarah a meaningful look, and then turns back to Calvin.

"You know, last week I would have answered differently, but now... no, it doesn't sound too strange. Maybe you're just a little special, that's all."
