The mood at Oak Park is high on Monday morning.  Friday night the football team scored a big win against Larkin and that is a big morale booster.

Sylvia, Kel, and Colin got their photos and stories to Gretchen over the weekend and she put the copy together for the first issue of the Huskie News.  Kel's account of the game is excellent, and Colin's photos really help to make the first game of the season come alive.  The story about the Lawson Labs incident is also top notch, and the disturbing photo of the water man brings a spooky edge to the story.

Cal is heralded as a hero my many of the staff and students for his performance at the game.  One student shocks him with praise for helping the people at the lab.  It's a strangely sobering moment.

Megan's return to school is unremarkable for the most part.  The other girls from the squad want to hear all about her ordeal, and some of the staff quietly indicate that they're glad she wasn't seriously hurt, but mostly it's business as usual.

Matt ends up in one of the restrooms on the ground floor near the wood shops before lunch.  Everything is okay, until an older boy comes in.  He looks around in the stalls and seeing no one around demands lunch money from Matt, or he'll paste him.  Before things can get ugly Matt is startled by.....Ninja.

TJ gets literally dragged into an empty room by Kirby before lunch.  He's totally freaking out, "My tunneling ray, it's missing!"

Everyone else will meet up at lunch, as usual where you're introduced to another of Sarah's friends, Don Douglas.
