"So, would it be ok if I sat with you and your friends for lunch?"

"Uhm, err, yea..." Matt replies, in his usual charismatic way. "Like, uh, just to hang out or something?" He's got absolutely no clue what this is about, it's not like she needed his permission or anything to join the growing lunch gang, after all he's hardly even part of it himself...

"Yeah, just to be around some new people.  It's okay isn't it?"

"Ah, uhm sure... but why are you asking me anyway? Want me to, uhm, like, introduce you or something?"

Shelia laughs at that, "Well, it would be polite I guess.  Unless you'd rather not introduce me to them."  Shelia's expression is one of worry.

"Ah, uh" Matt blushes, "no, no, I mean yes, or, uh no... sure I'd introduce you. Not sure that I'd do such a great job at it though, heh..." he smiles, perfectly aware of what an adept public speaker he can be.

He looks down a bit afterwards, not sure exactly how sensitive she'd be to the next bit, as if it was him having just lost his little brother odds are he'd be set off in hysteria by the least thing. "They, uh, they were hit really hard by your, uh, your brother's death by the way, so odds are you'll get a few, uhm, apologies and well-wishes and such, hope that's, like, okay. Just saying, y'know."

She smiles weakly, "It's okay.  I'm getting used to it."

"O-okay then. So, uh, I'll see you at lunch then?"

[OOC: figure I'd do the introductions thing later on, tomorrow maybe, once the lunch thread's going on so that there'd actually be anyone there other than Dave to introduce her to?]
