Seth is approached at his locker by a couple of scruffy looking upper-classmen.  "Dude."  One of them begins, "We heard you're a musician.  Wanna jam with our band Saturday night?"

What? Cool,....Play it cool. "Sure, whatever. What kind of music do you guys play?"

"We play mostly alternative stuff, really edgy, ya'know dude?"

Seth realizes that he probably doesn't know what he means, but can guess as to what they play.

Like Interpol, The Decemberists, Anberlin, Alkaline Trio, Dismemberment Plan, Fugazi, The Juliana theory, Killswitch engage?

Ball park me here. And what instrament do you want me to bring?

"Ah..El says he's gonna get a trombone player, I do drums and slick here is out keyboard guy.  Can you play guitar?"

"What kind of guitar?"...Seth smiles a little cocky smile..." Yeah I can play one."

YESSS!...This is exactly what Seth wanted to happen when he got to high school...It couldn't get any better than this.

"Cool."  He says, handing you directions.  "We're setting up about 8, so see you then man."

The rest of the day flew by quickly. When he got home, his mother started in on him....

"Asi Asi,....Fantástico. Conseguí pedido ensamblar una venda. Nos suponen satisfacer esta noche en 8.Es un poco mi audición. Pienso que voy a necesitar un paseo... si ése es aceptable.

Mama, of course that's what I want. I want to be a master musician, and join the Met. Usted lo sabe. Pero, también deseo ser un rockstar...

Setito, you know I support you in (yeah right!?!) what ever you want to do. Pero los rockstars, y las vendas, hacen muchos de cosas que no quisiera que le expusieran a. Usted tiene este número de teléfono de los cabritos. Deseo llamar a sus padres. Apenas cerciorarse de allí no será ningún alcohol,  

Oh, my god....... Mama, You are not going to call and ask that. I would die of embarressment.

¿Le desconcierto?  She was wearing a bikini top and a sarang to do housework...and the pool had allready been shut down. Whose mom dresses like this... plus she was such a flirt, and she wanted to call upperclassmen parents to ask if there would be alcohol. And...she was in magazines all over the world...Seth didn't want to think about how much she sometimes embarressed him.

"No mama. I'm going to go do my homework. Just please don't call them. I promise you, I won't drink"  When she looked him down.. "Prometo. Cruce mi corazón."

3 hours later, his homework was finished. to be fair his homework was finished in like 30 minutes, and he had spent the rest of the time gaming. He packed his electric and acoustic (guitars), and his violin, and got in the car. His mother was very punctual as always, and joined him in the garage at 7:30. His family had such a busy schedule everyone was just expected to be ready at the agreed upon time...And he made his way over to the band's house.

OOC:  I thought the party was supposed to happen Saturday night, not Friday?
