She almost didn't find him at first, he'd changed some since she saw him last, which was only a few days ago. He'd lost weight and had changed his hair. It's gone a moment later and you're left feeling that he's changed. The girls are pretty, not from any of the major social divisions. They would be considered out of his league normally though. Something's up, dammit, and Sylvia wants to know what's going on. She risks deceit. What do girls look like when they're attracted to someone? She's not completely sure, but she sees the examples set by Amber and Gina and strives to imitate. It's like method acting, really. Stanislavsky would tell her to envision some guy to whom she's attracted and pretend that's him in front of her. And so she does. It might help to quicken her pulse and bring out the coquette in her.
