The whole school is a buzz aboutt he party at the Janush house on Saturday.  There is very little about the snake-man and the heroes, but there is some. 

During homeroom a few of the students get slips from the office telling them they have an appointment with the crisis counselor.  Sammy is among the first ones to get notified.

Items in the news;

A car chase and shooting took place in Oak Park Sunday afternoon.  Two men were hurt and one Senior from Oak Park High was wounded and taken to the hospital.  Police say that a new drug cropping up in Chicago may have been the cause.

Four suspects in an armored car robbery were killed when the van they were being transported in exploded.  Two Sheriff's deputies were injured in the blast.

OOC: is this the same shooting which Colin was involved in? Any dream worth of note?

Colin begins his early morning route of delivering papers, and snatches a look at the news. He is very interested in the article about the shooting, he especially checks if the name of the senior or the hospital he was brought in are mentioned.

Then, since he's beginning to lose his faith in coincidences, he looks at article about the explosion too, wondering if it has anything to do with him and his friends.

Is there anything you'd like me to do, or places I should go to today? I'd like to feel useful, you know?

Strangely Colin doesn't dream that night.  Normally he does, regular types of dreams that teenage boys have (sorry Sarah) but not last night.  Last night there was nothing, but you did wake up refreshed and everything seemed brighter and more vibrant.
