Donnie makes it a point to find Rob after school.  Recent events have him wanting to ask Rob some questions.

"Hey Donnie.  How's tricks?"

"Same old madness we've become accostomed to. I just have a few questions, off any record of course, about the last couple of weeks for you. I know you bailed a couple of weeks ago on the Game for a date, and that's cool and stuff, but I was wondering about how you got to know her. I know I am kind of prying, but I am just concerned about the incident at the party. I know you don't remember much about it, but we all saw that Yuan-Ti spirit come out of you. Blah. I am babbling. Hokay, here goes: How did you meet your girlfriend? Did she approach you or did you get all ballsy and ask her out?"

"I didn't have a girlfriend.  This girl in my math class asked for some help, and while I was helping her I realized it wasn't as hard to actually talk to a girl as I thought.  So I started offering to help other girls, figured it was an easy way to break the ice.  It seemed to work out pretty good.  I asked Laura to the party because she's the girl I knew the best, and I liked her."

"Do you remember at what point things became easier? Was there any time in your recollection where things suddenly fell into place?"

"Not really.  How do you know if you're cool and confident or if it's some magic power.  I thought about it a lot, and then I did it.  It doesn't matter now anyway."

"Was Laura friends with Gina and that other girl you were having lunch with the other day?"

"No.  I met them on my own.  Laura got freaked out by whatever Colin did at the party, I haven't talked to her since then.  I haven't talked to any of them since then."

"I totally feel awkward about all this Rob, but someone put that snake-spirit inside you, and I really want to find out who. It worries me that someone is using magic on us highschool kids,. With the Superman drug making the rounds, Rory's death, the part; all of it is too strange. Do you have any point of recollection when you may have been in a strange situation that still confuses you, or has hazy memory? Have you had a lot of strange dreams or anything?"

"NO!"  Rob's tone is harsh, "I already told you, I thought it was all me.  One minute people like me and I'm cool and the next I'm just another fat kid that people ignore.  So you tell me, which is worse.  Dieing fat and popular or fat and alone?"  He ends the conversation by changing directions, "Just drop it okay, I'm not really in the mood to be happy."

"Ok, sorry. I know how you feel though." Donnie pats his belly. "See ya around Rob. If you wanna talk, give me a call, ok?"
