In the News The investigation into a break in at the Chicago PD Evidence storage warehouse continues. Police have confirmed there was only one item stolen from the warehouse, that being a set of four mechanical tenticles used in a brief crime spree several years ago by a University of Chicago professor Otto Octavius. The professor as well as several of his contemporaries had been adversely influenced by an artifact that was on display at the universities history museum. Television signals all over Chicago and the surrounding area were disrupted briefly yesterday. Officials are uncertain what caused the disruption but solar flares are not being ruled out as a cause. School News Saturday's football game against Proviso West will be a home game. John Maxxon will be replacing Calvin Stewart as quarterback. School Talk Rumor is circulating that someone is selling graphic pictures from inside the girls shower and locker room. A couple of kids have been busted with them in their lockers. The staff is investigating the problem and they're putting teachers in the shower room to keep an eye out for anyone that doesn't belong. Some of the really interesting pieces in the school papaer have drawn a lot of attention and praise from the staff and faculty as well as some of the other students. Generally it's thought that the paper isn't just for show but is actually saying stuff that's relavent. there have been some strange couples the last few days. Girls and guys that would not have been thought of as compatible (social reasons) have been dating, kissing, holding hands. A popular rumor is that there is something in the water fountains making everyone crazy. Events TJ has hit a wall with his analysis of the oily compound he CSI'd off the lockers near where those five girls got into a huge fight over one guy a week or so ago. It's a higly complex sodium based substance, but he's having trouble figuring out what the heck it is and what it does. Heather shows Sammy a picture of the costume the drama department made from the picture she showed her. It's very close to the picture, but made to be easier to move around in. Calvin talks to Megan to tell her that his family is moving back to Texas (OOC: We're loosing Mort from the game due to the posting frequency).
