This is the latest in a rash of violent events to plauge Chicago and the surrounding area in the last several weeks. Many communities including Oak Park are calling for emergency sessions of city council tonight to discuss measures aimed at dealing with these events. Police are indicating that more vigilantes are prowling the streets of Chicago. A number of drug dealers were detained and later taken into custody by authorities Friday night. Reports are vauge but it appears that a small team of heroes is operating in the city at this time and working to curb the low level drug traffic in hardest hit neighborhoods. School News Just after first bell there are also a number of random locker searches and several studetns are pulled out of class to the office. "Attention students, this is Principal Landis. Due to recent events the school board for the district has decided that until a complete investigation is conducted into certain allegations of misconduct all organized athletic programs are suspended. The district superintendent hopes to have the matter resolved quickly and I will be talking with the various teams to keep them appraised of the situation." School Talk The halls are a buzz with tales of the events of Saturday's game. Rumors vary but the general consensus is that at least a dozen players between both teams were on Superman. Rumor has it that the assistant football coach was arrested for giving players Superman. Events After Megan gets home she finds a package came for her. It's the tracking device she ordered. |
