Title: Chapter 22 Post by: secretoracle on November 20, 2006, 03:32:28 PM Wednesday October 10th, 2007 In The News Police are investigating what might be a new lead in the Black Hat vigilante hunt. Eyewitnesses last night told police they were certain the Black Hat was a woman and not a man. The investigation took a new turn when the Black Hat recently began to let those he attacked live, and last night was another case of this. The vigilante attacked a dozen gang members that were assaulting a couple. Witnesses are certain that the vigilante is a woman, based on her profile. Chicago PD did not comment if this development changes the case significantly. Vigilante's were responsible for the apprehension of nearly a half dozen armed men last night that had started to shoot up the 51st Street Hobo Town. Police took the men intio custody and sources inside the department say they may be related to the Comet Biotech shooting incident that took place earlier in the week. A complete investigation is underway. School News It's announced that the School Board has instituted a new policy for all school athletic teams. The policy requires drug testing for all participants to be conducted each week. Of the samples a random 3% will be tested. Students able to comply and that are cleared will be able to continue to participate in team sports. School Talk Lisa Janush has been removed from the school and sent to the Catholic school (Fenwick) for her romantic rendevous with John Maddox. Events Sammy babysat last night for Katie. In the morning Velocity took her to the Airport where Eagle Force was there with Inspector Kiernan to pick her up. Tha latest issue of the Huskie News hits the stands today and is well received. The coverage of the game and the other wild event sat the school and around town win the staff some praise.
