The 10 year old was the sole survivor of a group home masaqure in Kansas back in June and had been on the run from an as yet unidentified criminal organization. On hand were Chicago PD officers and the local super hero Velocity who had been safeguarding the young girl after locating her the night before. Justice of Eagle Force said in a statement that the NSA would be conducting a complete investigation into the circumstances surrounding the pursuit and recent abduction of Katie Stone and those responsible would be dealth with. A stundent at Oak Park High School armed with what authorities are calling a Death Ray walked into his classroom yesterday and shot a teacher. The teacher wasn't serious injured and no other students were hurt during the attack. The student, who's name is being withheld, has been admitted to Manteno Psychiatric Hospital for treatment of a personality disorder. When questioned concerning teh bizarre circumstances surrounding the attack the authorities indicated that it's become apparent that several of the teenagers in the Chicago area are developing paranormal powers. They attribute the capture of the armed student and the circumstances that alerted them to the case to other students who obviously have turned their gifts to helping others. School News The Huskies football team will be playing Downers Grove North Friday night. It's an away game but the team could still use your support. Busses have been arranged to take students to the game and return them to Oak Park campus, so come out and show your support. School Talk The 27th seems to be the date that's set for the Janush Halloween party. The location and other details are yet to be determined but Elrod has already started letting people know about it. Rumor has it that Mr. Landis is having all the locks on the store rooms changed and they're gonna start cracking down on cell phones and other electronic gizmos at school. Word is the new rule will be not seen, not heard. Otherwise they're gonna start confiscating. The police apparently are going through all the science labs. The death ray was supposedly built by someone here and Randy just found it and decided to go nuts. Events Tonight is the scheduled day for everyone that was interested to meet with Jack Donaldson. This was the person that the Banners and some other folks asked to help some of the Usual suspects learn to take care of themselves and help out with how to use powers and related stuff.
