Corey gets up first, road rash evident all along his right side. John picks himself up off the pavement, his cloths more abraded from the pavement, but he looks fine. "Time to see what I got thrown over for Quarterback." In a blur Cory moves for John. OOC: Initiatives please. Megan thinks as she makes a tight turn to come to a stop to see the two boys facing off. While she was rather certain John could easily wipe the floor with Cory, she was afraid Cory could get hurt in the process. "I don't want to fight you." he says. [Initiative 19] "Too bad." Cory says, crossing the distance to John and throwing a punch. The blow connects with John's jaw, lifting him from the ground and hurling him across the street into a wall. The bricks of the building give way some, and John falls to the ground. She focused on shifting a bit of that speed now as she swung at Cory once more. (ooc Power attack -2 accuracy, +2 damage, for +4 hit, +6 dam. The power of the blow slid him a few inches along the pavement, and he was out cold. A little ways off in the distance Megan could hear sirens heading this way. [End Combat turns] Megan can see John picking himself up off the pavement. "Megan, are you alright?" he says, dusting himself off.
