Sylvia gives Colin a call one night between her geometry and French homework.

"Hi, Syl. How may I help you?" Colin says in his usual funny way.

"Hey, I was wondering, your, uh . . . that guy.  Chris?  Has he said anything about what happened with the love goo and the theater?  Is he looking into that?"

"He is looking, but he hasn't found out much more than us. The goo was put into the sprinklers, so that only that theater was drenched. It looks like our lunchroom cupid wanted some new guinea pigs. They looked for fingerprints but unfortunately they found nothing."

"Have you gone and done the psychometry thing?"

"No, I haven't. Would you like me to look into that?"

Sylvia nods.  "Do you have time now?"

Colin looks at the photos he was working at for the newspaper and shrugs. "Sure. How are we going there?"

"El?"

"I'll try. I'll text you as he answers."

Colin tries to call Dave first, then if he cannot Elrod later, to ask for a lift to the theater.

Dave will answer the phone after a coulpe of rings, and immediately agrees to provide transport.  Arrangements are made for opick up and withint about a half hour Syl and Colin are at the theater.  Dave says he'll be over at the mall and they can text him when they're ready to go.

"So, um, I'll get you in," Sylvia tells Colin, "but I should probably leave the room while you do your thing."

Colin raises his eyebrows. "Why?"

Sylvia grimaces.  "It's love goo.  There are limbs I'd rather lose."

"Oh. I think they cleaned it up, anyway I brought what's left of Mr Heep's antidote." he says pointing to his inseparable backpack. "Let's go."

Sylvia follows along despite her misgivings.

OOC: Where are you going to go, the theater where it happened or try and find the place where the cannister was attached to the sprinkler system?

OOC: The place where he hacked into the sprinkler system.

With Sylvia's help they get directions to the place where the canister of love goo was attached to the sprinkler system.  The somewhat glassy eyed usher explains that this is where the police found it when they looked around.  When he's done, he smiles and says "Enjoy your movie."  Then walks away without a glance back.

"Was that the goo, or me?" Sylvia asks, unnerved.

"I don't know. Maybe it was just him. Actually I hope so."

They follow the directions to the sprinkler system.

Blackbird, I need a bit of advice here. Can I see a bit of what happened here without touching it, in case there are still some traces of goo? Or can I touch around with rubber gloves? I brought them just in case.

Just to make Sylvia feel better, Colin puts on his rubber gloves, and starts his usual routine of looking for a vision.

The only impression he gets is a clinical feeling.  This is for science more than it's for me.  This could change the world for the better.

Colin shakes his head.

"There's not much left. He thinks his invention could make the world better. In a 'make love not war' kinda way, I guess. He's moved on. The school is not enough anymore. I'm afraid he'll start to use it on even more people."
