Sammy tries to talk to Dave when he's more or less alone.

"Dave?  You know everything.  Do you know what happened with that Bruce Pernell guy?  I mean, I know he turned himself in, but do you know why?  He could have got away with the bee guy thing if he'd never done it again.  Nobody would have ever known it was him."

"Well, something about he woke up one morning and realized he needed help.  He's getting some therapy and his folks are pulling for him.  Everybody seems to think he'll be alright, it's just gonnas take some time."

"That's it?"  Sammy ponders that.  "It just seems so... sudden.  I don't quite get it, but maybe that's a good thing."

"How's it going with Lisa?"

"Her check cleared, so it's going wonderfully.  Thanks for asking."  Dave says with a smile.  "And, isn't anytime you realize you need mental help, sudden?"

Sammy sticks her tongue out at him.  "Yes.  Its just sudden for me.  I go from being furious at this guy to being afraid of what he might do to more of my friends to... to feeling pity for him.  Maybe I'm another one who needs mental help."

Dave shrugs.  "I think the problem would be if you didn't feel those different things.  right?"  Dave smiles and puts his arm around her shoulders, "Look at it this way, you can inspire both stalking and self-revalation.  Maybe you have a future in psycho-therapy."

"Yah, but only as a patient."  She sighs and mentally puts bee boy away.  "Guess you heard that my folks are going to let me go with the band this summer?  I found myself a chaperone they can trust."

"Sweet.  Maybe I'll make a point of hitting a few of the shows."

"Cool.  Elrod will like that."
