Post by: secretoracle on October 23, 2007, 12:26:55 AM December 10th through December 14th, 2007 In The News Police have made several arrests connected to a white slavery ring operating in the US. After receiving an anonymous tip the authorities arrested a dozen men in a warehouse where shots had been fired. Several of the men are wanted by INTERPOL in connection with kidnapping and slavery charges. The suspected ring leader of the organization is suspected to be at large. US and European authorities are cooperating on the case and the extradition of the men. School News Donations for the holiday food drive have been remarkable. The staff and faculty would like to thank all the students that have donated food and encourage those who haven't to do so. The School's Winter Concert will be Saturday December 22nd at 7PM. School Talk Elrod Janush is planning a party for the night of the 22nd, after the Winter Concert. The location is still up in the air, but there will be a band, dancing, and free food. Events Megan and the dance folks begin working on their routine this week. Sammy and Nick begin practicing their number this week. They get some time at lunch and after band practice to work on it. Until the stage direction parts are planned out, they're focusing on the singing to each other part. OOC: People who had planned to talk to other people in the last chapter will get to in this one. For whatever reason they couldn't coordinate getting together until this week, or the person they've been looking for has been scarce. Post by: Kat on October 23, 2007, 08:09:58 AM Unless Elrod makes a point of popping in for visits during rehearsals or hanging around to drive her home after, Sammy probably won't get too much of a chance to actually see him. She called him after Megan told her about the Torrance problem, but she didn't tell him that anybody was after him, or anything like that. It was a normal phone call. She does intend to somehow talk to him every day even if she doesn't actually see him. |
