Elrod is standing in the hall just inside the main doors when Sarah spots him.  He's looking out through he doors as she approaches.

Sarah jogs up with a smile, "Hey there.  Hope I didn't drag you out of anything important.  Can you spare a few minutes?"

She taps a text to Sammy CC'd to Sylvia.  got Lrod meet where?

"No, nothing important.  I just can't remember why I was headed outside is all."  He turns to face her, "So what did you need?"

Sarah grins, "I needed you.  Sammy asked me to corral you.  It seems someone has been playing mind games again and you are definitely involved.  Uh... wait.  Did you just say you were heading outside but you don't know why?  Where were you planning to go?"

"Like I said, I can't remember.  I think maybe I was headed to my car?" 

Roger.  We're coming in.

"Let's meet up with Sammy in the News Room." says Sarah to Elrod.  She walks beside him and asks, "Any brainstorms for your party yet?"

"Just working  with the ganster theme at the moment.  We'll see how it goes."

They walk to the newsroom.  OOC:And right into a new thread.

*EVEN LATER THAT SAME SCHOOL DAY*

Sammy knows Elrod's schedule pretty well too.  She is waiting for him at the top of a stairwell in the minutes before the last class of the day.  She's still wrapped up tight in her virtual armor.

"Hello.  You wanted to talk to me?"

Elrod nods.  "Two things.  "Are you physically ok?, I heard there was a fight in the cafeteria, everyone heard.  I wanted to know if you were ok, physically.  That you weren't hurt in the fight."

"Not a mark on me that wasn't there before," she replies.  "I'm fully intact."

"That's a relief.  I guess it's three things, since I was going to ask you if you were ok otherwise.  But that seems like it's not entirely possible.  So instead I'll ask if you think Nick is gonna be ok, did you get a chance to talk to him?"

"We spoke before my math class.  I guess he's okay.  Maybe.  I don't know." 

"When, and if, you ever feel like you want to talk to me just give me a call.  You must be pretty hurt, and there is nothing I can ever do to fix that or make it go away.  I feel the same way I felt about you yesterday, and the day before.  I just wanted to know you were ok, at least physically."  He offers her a smile, and then begins to head to his last class.

She says mechanically "Sure.  Maybe.  Goodbye, Elrod."  She turns away from him and slowly heads to her own classroom.
