Title: Chapter 51 Post by: secretoracle on November 24, 2008, 10:52:23 AM January 21st 2008 through January 25th 2008 In the News Police responded to a number of calls over the weekend that appear to be related to persons from alternate dimensions. State and local police are on a high state of alert. Another construction site was vandalized over the weekend. Police are convinced the culprit is a youth or gang of youths with paranormal abilities. School News Repairs to the North Cafeteria (where the Freshman are required to take their lunch) were completed over the weekend and it is back into full service. School Talk Rumor mill has it that Sarah Rollins was at a keg party Saturday with Kel Stilley, and apparently got pretty drunk. Which might explain why Sarah is getting so many admiring looks from so many boys that normally ignore her. Events The Usual Suspects wanted to check out the construction site(s) that got vandalized. Who is going? I assume that we can do that Monday after class? It's not ME! A huge grin fills her face and a song fills her heart and her eyes are sparkling with delight. It's NOT ME! She just barely refrains from air kissing every fifth boy she sees. Why five? Because there are five letters in N-O-T-M-E! She volunteers to provide some hard hats for the construction site investigation should anybody want them. She can get some from her father. Nothin' says fashion statement quite as much as a bright yellow hard hat. Title: Re: Chapter 51 Post by: opensesame on December 02, 2008, 11:56:52 PM Sarah tries to enjoy the rest of the day after lunch, she's already getting used to ignoring day two's looks of scandal which mark her passage down the hall. She knew they would pass. Even if she couldn't prove her innocence it was only news until something better came along. Something far more salacious or dangerous would rear it's ugly head and totally eclipse her alternate selves night out on the town. It would be nice to see Kel and TJ again. In an effort to cheer up her day she mentioned to one teacher that she got a B not a C on that last paper and smiled as her grade was rewritten. I know it's a bad habit but I've been really busy lately. What's more important fighting crime or writing a paper on the governments of 19th century Europe? |
