Sarah looks at Donnie and says, "I'd ask you what happened but I got the gist of it from Dave.  Want to get some distance from the whole mess?  I'm not picking sides and I'm not making any judgements about what happened.  It sounds like the whole thing just got blown out of proportion by everybody.  So forget about the junk you can't or wont or dont want to do anything about.  Go get your warm clothes."

She puts on a hat and wraps a scarf around her neck.  her coat is next to her.

Donnie retrieves his winter clothing and nods his readiness for the Sarah Fwip! Express. "Where to? It doesn't matter. Sylvia's gone into hiding again. When that girl wants to avoid people, she's really damn good at it."

Sarah nods and says, "That she is, just like Beetlejuice.  But you shouldn't find her right now anyway.  She wants to work it through her own head.  You should know that better than any of us.  Sylvia has, what some might consider to be, a stubborn streak.  So now your stuck fuming and twitchy right?  Feeling out of control etc, etc yadda yadda?  So don't think about it."

She reaches out and takes Donnie's hand.  "Just do what comes natural," she adds with a wink.
"Or at least natural for you."
*poit*

Sarah and Donnie appear 1 mile straight up.

She pushes away from Donnie and yells, "Think your dragons can get here and catch us before we splat on the roof?!?"  She grins like a maniac before cartwheeling a bit further off.

Donnie screams. "JESUS CHRIST!" He desperately calls for Althea. The cereulean drake appears in the air and keens "Wheeeeeeee!!!" before peeling away to catch Sarah. Another few seconds rip by as Donnie flings out his arms and legs in a classic skydiver's position to slow himself as much as possible.

It seems like an eternity (and the ground seems so much closer) before Althea snatches Donnie out of the air, Sarah tucked up under on clawed forelimb. "Donnie, Donnie! You go flying without Althea? You don't have your wings yet, silly!"

Donnie, hair wild and eyes wide open looks over at the grinning Sarah. "You are insane!" Then he starts laughing.

Sarah nods and shouts, "Catch us if you can Althea!"  She reaches across and blinks out with Donnie again a quarter mile away and back up in the air.  Sarah plays catch with Donnie and herself as the tennis ball for Althea in the sky park until her lips are blue and her head starts to ache with brain freeze.
"F-f-feellingg b-b-bettt-ttt-er yet?" asks a trembling, grinning Sarah

Althea is gleeful with the play, despite Donnie's mind-numbing fear and exhaustion. He tries to evade her touch, but the teleporting teenager wouldn't let him escape, zort!ing behind him if he manages to dodge her.

"Pppl-eas-s-s-s! I give up-p-p! I'll tell you wh-w-where all the bod-d-dies are!"

Sarah nods and pats Althea on the claw.  "B-bb bye Althea!  Th-Thank k ks ff or p-playing!"

She reaches across to Donnie and *fnord* they are back in the newsroom with the temperature a blazing sixty degrees warmer around them.  She inhales a ragged breath of the air and plops down in a chair.  The wind and the moisture in the air has done little for either of their appearances.  She points to Donnie's head and starts laughing but it collapses into coughing.  After a while she gets her breathing settled.  "Oh.. oh.. okay maybe that wasn't my brightest ideas but I couldn't think of a quicker way to uh... clear your head?  Have to save that one for next summer maybe.  My advise is let this all pass for now.  Give everybody involved a pass.  Catgirl's got some baggage but I think we should do our best to work with her.  We have to take crap that the badguys don't because we're kinder gentler blah blah blah.  That's why we get all the girls/boys/whatever.  Colin is probably off chatting with her if he could find her.  Hopefully he'll make her see that we've all got issues but that swinging first and asking questions later isn't cool.  Right now she's scratching people and hiding under the couch but in a couple of weeks she'll be purring in your lap."

Sarah thinks about that really bad analogy for a second.  "Or you know... just disdaining your presence.  That might be safer for everybody."

Donnie laughs, coughing, and pointing at Sarah's head. "Y-your hair is m-much long-g-ger." He raises his hands to show her how big her hair is "Fwoop!"

After the laughing subsides, he listens to Sarah's speech with all seriousness and respect.

"I understand what you mean. I am willing to forgive, if she shows remorse. Sarah, you, Colin, Sylvia, Sammy, you are my family, my best friends. If one of you died, it would destroy me. Alicia is walking trouble. She's got issues, baggage, yeah, but she assaulted Sylvia. I may have anger issues and times when my temper gets out of control, but I have never attacked any of you. I have never attacked even my enemies with intent to kill. Even the bwitches. I saw through Sylvia's eyes when Alicia came at her. There was nothing but fury and murder there. Had Sammy not thrown herself in front of Alicia, Sylvia would have likely be in the hospital. Sammy moved faster than John."  He shakes his head.

"It feels like everyone is eager to throw down verbally with me and be reluctant to forgive a single senence uttered to Sammy, but people seem willing and eager to give a homocidal, cat eyed sex-pot a second chance after she went berserk on one of us. Does that not somehow seem wrong? Even John lost his temper with me after I told Alicia that if she attacks one of us again, I will press charges. I wasn't physically threatening her. Yeah I was warning her, and could probably have been gentler, but dammit, she just attacked my girlfriend with intent to inflict grevious bodily harm. I had a right to be pissed off. Then she goes and declares Sylvia mindraped her. What the fuck? Seriously. I don't want anything to do with her until she gets her issues under control and we can trust her. Right now, she's far far away from that."

Donnie is agitated, but his eyes stay their normal blue. He just seems exhausted from the day and the lesson in free-fall flight.

Sarah points up and says, "I can toss you back up there a few more times...."  She grins and shakes her head.  "Seriously you are right about Alicia getting cut a break but like I said, she's new and she's overcoming something.  So kidgloves for her for a week or two.  Her senses are way wired right?  So maybe she got extra joy out of Sylvia's little mood enhancer.  How would you feel if somebody dumped an ecstasy cocktail into your coke without telling you and you freaked out?  Would you say no big deal or would you be looking for trouble?  Plus I'm going to guess she's no suburb girl.  I hear the city kids have a rougher code than we do.  I wouldn't know.  Back when I lived in Chicago it was private school for me with a little uniform."

Sarah puts her hand on Donnie's shoulder and gives it a squeeze.  "I know you didn't attack anyone Donnie but for some people words are just as painful as punching.  I'm almost certain that Alicia would prefer it if you'd punched her and told her to back off than try and verbally fight with her.  I could be wrong.  I am a lot.  I'll show you my homework sometime if you doubt me.  I think Sammy would prefer it if you'd punched her as well.  Those green eyes have got her kind of scared considering some people made a hobby of enslaving her ancestors.  It's not fair and she blew it out of proportion.  Sammy does that.  We've all got flaws.  Some of us have super flaws.  I don't think you did anything wrong Donnie.  I just don't want to see things get worse in the group."

Donnie nods. "As long as we stay out of each other's way, I can deal. If there's-" he pauses, and pulls out his phone.
"Thank God! It's Sylvia!"

He immediately taps out a message.
