Tuesday morning between classes Sammy, Donnie and Rhys are all close enough to see and hear the following exchange.

"Where's my book report shrimp?" Asks the two hundred pound senior.

"I didn't do it Reggie.  I'm not your personal homework valet." replies the ninety pound Freshman.

"You've got until the end of next period." Insists the two hundred pound senior.

"Hey."  Injects the cheerleader.  "Leave him alone and do your own homework.  Or grow a personality and get a girlfriend that's willing to do it for you like all the other rock head jocks."

"Watch your mouth bimbo."  replies the two hundred pound senior, adding emphasis with a finger poke to the cheerleader's breastbone.

"Hands off!"  she yells, with a palm to his chest to push him away, launching him down the hall and bowling over twenty or so other students.  He finally lands in a heap about twenty feet away.

OOC: Rhys. Sammy, Donnie I need Reflex saves DC 10.  The DC goes up by 2 for every person you try to get out of the way with you (max of two additional people).

Sammy cushions herself and two random crowd members in a pocket of air, and pulls them out of the way.

Rhys somehow manages to grab two people (some would say they weren't realistically within reach) and move them out of the way safely.

Donnie snags two chattering other freshman and yanks them out of the way of the flying Senior. "Watch it!"

The ninety pound freshman stares in awe at the fallen senior, then turns to stare in adolescent awe at the cheerleader.  Then a crowd begins to form around her, offering her praise for her swift handling of the situation and lots of oohs and ahhs about her amazing strength.

Sammy picks herself up from her fake tumble away, and looks askance at the cheerleader.  Unbidden, a wholly unworthy thought drifts through her mind.

Well, la di dah.  Oooh, she's so great.  We've been watching this school against really bad guys for months now, and she's the hero for pushing a jock out of the way.

She shakes it off and pushes through the crowd toward the jock bully to check on him.  He was pushed pretty hard.

The bully is standing up, and pushing people out of the way, "Bitch!"  escapes his lips and he starts to shove his way back along the hall towards her.

"Sorry.  Ain't happening." Sammy wraps him in a blanket of air and lifts him slightly off the ground.  He's not going anywhere.

"What th...  Bitch, you better put me down!"  screams the two hundred pound senior, but not at Sammy.  He assumes this is also the work of the cheerleader.

Heads turn, and then turn again.  The cheerleader seems to be getting nervous.  Then in a blur she's gone, plowing through the crowd and sending them scattering like leaves.

OOC:
Sammy can drop the Bully and try to essentially blanket the hall with a wave of up drafting air to soften the landings, but that will cost you a Hero Point.

Donnie and Rhys can take actions, If Donnie drops a Hero point he could certainly Tilt Gravity in the hallway to make the crash landings a little easier.

There will be plenty to do in the next few seconds, I'm sure.

Sammy doesn't relent.  He gets lifted a little higher, over the crowd.  He's not being hurt in any way, just totally restrained.

Rhys tries to think quick, but his powers are still pretty new to him, and he hasn't yet developed the split-second decision making process that would allow him to form into something useful. He jumps forward, trying to prevent at least a couple of serious injuries by helping some people land well, or at least providing a soft surface...

A few people are saved from serious bangs, and most everyone scatters as some of the hall monitors and teachers begin to show up.

"HELP!  someone get me down from here!"  the two hundred pound senior wails as adults begin to arrive.

Sammy sets him down very, very gently but does not release him until several adults are present.

Donnie flings his hands out, golden runes flitting from his fingertips and a number of students find themselves floating gently down to the ground, gravity not so harsh a mistress this day. If any begin looking at him after the move, he loses himself into the crowd, heading out and following the teenage hulkette.

Oh man, what was her name again?

Donnie didn't get a good look at her before everything went strange, but he thinks from the sound of her voice it was Helen Slater.  As he moves down the hall he finds that she's not too hard to follow, from the trail of broken and bent doors in her path.  Then she exits the building and he looses her.

After the bully and whoever else start blathering about what happened, Sammy heads off along the path of destruction.  She finds that the path leads out of the building, so she takes to the air (alone, unless she spots Donnie first).

Seeing that both Donnie and Sammy have run off after the cheerleader, Rhys decides to stick around here for a minute to see if the jock is going to cause any more trouble.

The two hundred pound senior is fingered by the crowd as who started it.  After the teachers demand a "One at a time please!"  they get the whole story.  The two hundred pound senior is sent to the office, and some of the staff begin to look for the cheerleader.

DOnnie sends Pip aloft as he begins searching, looking for more broken items and possible directions.

Pip doesn't find sign of the cheerleader, but he does probably see Sammy.

Pip divebombs past Sammy, chirruping questioningly.

Sammy speeds up and tackles Pip with a mid air dragon doggy tumble.  "I don't see her anywhere, Pip.  I think she must have gone into a building."
